CHRISTINE CARLSON is a communications executive for a Philadelphia metro area real estate firm.

     Here interest in the relationship between church and state began with her dismay of the violence and intolerance incited by differing religious beliefs. Curiosity about the seeming intertwined components of marriage in the United States caused her to research how and why our system originated. She has delivered sermons on this and other topics at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia.

     She received her Bachelors in Science in Music Education from West Chester University.
